In the deep subtropical rain forest with ancient trees covering the sun and sky, there is a rain forest beauty – cyathea spinulosa. Cyathea spinulosa is the only existing tree ferns, which is extremely rare and can be called a national treasure. It has been included in the list of the first class protected and endangered plants by many countries. Cyathea spinulosa used to be the most prolific plants on the earth. It is the "dinosaur" among plants. In Pu'er Sun River National Park, there are totally 4 kinds of cyathea spinulos, namely, cyathea podophylla, cyathea gigantea, gymnosphaera podophylla and sphaeropteris brunoniana. Wandering along the trail, you can have a talk with cyathea spinulosa about things in the ancient times.
