The Ancient Tea-Horse Road heritage park is located in Lameipo, northwest of Simao district of Pu'er city in Yunnan Province. It is 5 kilometers away from the center of Simao district with an area of 382.43 acres.
Pu'er Ancient Tea-Horse Road is an important section in the north-south orientation of the road and it is by far the longest and the best preserved section with the most accumulated Tea-Horse Road culture and the best ecological condition.
In the history, Pu'er was a distribution trade center of Yunnan tea, crowned as Silver Simao and the land dock of Southeast Asia.
Guided by the "Tea-Horse Spirit" and the principle to protect and cherish the ancient Tea-Horse Road heritage, the park is ambitious to build a modern elaborated tourist scenic spots integrated with history and culture, making the world better understand the Tea-Horse culture.
